The WUKF is delighted to announce our membership of the European School Sport Federation (ESSF). The ESSF was founded in March 2020 with the aim of providing primary school students with the opportunity to compete on an international level of sport; based on all the values of the International School Sport Federation (ISF).
At the recent ESSF Open Combat Games in Belgrade, a memorandum of understanding was signed between WUKF, WTKU, SKDUN and the ESSF. Dr Liviu Crisan, WUKF World President, attended the games and signed the declaration on behalf of our federation.
Commenting on the news, Dr Liviu Crisan said: “This is another important step for the WUKF and our affiliated members. We join a network which will give fantastic opportunities to our young athletes across Europe and is an important recognition of our work.”
