Message of Sports Leisure and Tourism Secretary

Karatê practice fosters mental and physical well being, social inclusion, confraternization for all ages. It is also an important modality in all big national and international competitions. For this reason, the Sport, Leisure and Tourism Secretary of São Paulo State feels honored in supporting this sport through the THIRD CHILDREN, CADETS AND JUNIORS WUKF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – 2010, with confidence that our State will always be reference of all sport’s practice, which growingly incentivates brazilian sports.

Therefore, the State of São Paulo wishes Brazilian Karatê Confederation and World Union of Karate success in the accomplishment of the third edition of this event, trusting that it will empower our country, as it has been happening in the past few years, in all the international championships.
