Regulation of
“EUROPEAN KARATE CHILDREN,
CADETS AND JUNIORS”

The European Federations affiliated to WUKF will receive in short time a LOGIN NAME and a Password for ON LINE Registration.

INSCRIPTIONS - The dead line for Registration will be 20th of August 2009.

1. The Federations will be able to modify the registration data before the championship at the Registration Room (2nd and 3rd of September).

2. It is mandatory that the legal responsible of each Federation will bring the Passports to the Registration Room for the check of the competitor age.

3. The competitors 15 years to 20 years old must come for weigh check in the Registration Room, together with their Legal Responsible and their passports.

4. After the Registration each responsible will sign the Registration Form, after that NO CHANGE will be possible into the inscriptions. Please take care and check all carefully; this will assure a normal running of the championship.

CATEGORIES

For the categories from 6 to 14 years old the federations could register free number of competitors.

For the categories from 15 to 20 years old the federations could register only 4 competitors per category for Kata and Kumite Individual.

For TEAM categories only one team each category will be allowed for a federation.

The competitors have to choose:
Kumite Individual Ippon or Sanbon, the participation in both categories is not allowed.

The competitors could not fight in Shobu Sanbon Team and Shobu Ippon Team also, they have to choose one of these categories.

On Kumite Team Rotation all competitors can take part.

For Special Category (European Karate Open Seniors) each Federation may register maximum 4 competitors each category.

EUROPEAN WUKF OPEN SENIORS

For Special Category (European Karate Open Seniors) each Federation may register maximum 4 competitors each category. ( 21 years up )

- Kumite Sanbon Male Categories:
                -65 g     -75 Kg     +75 Kg
- Kata Open  Male

- Kumite Sanbon Female Categories:
                             -57 Kg    +57 Kg
- Kata Open Female

REFEREES

Each Federation must to bring at least 1 Referee for Seminar and work in the competition.
All Referees and Coaches are mandatory to take part in the Referee Seminar; otherwise they can’t stay at the tatamis during the competition.

Fees:
INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION         € 25 Euros / Kata or Kumite.
TEAM PARTICIPATION                    € 50 Euros / team.
REFEREE AND COACH                      € 50 Euros

The fees for participation will be paid in cash: The Official WUKF Currency is EURO only, please change your national currency before coming to the registration room.

WUKF materials will be available: Shirts, Passports, Pins, Badges and Ties. Please check the prices on WUKF web page.

DIPLOMAS - The Federations interested to get WUKF DAN Diplomas, must to bring the request signed by the President of the Federation. WUKF is not award DAN Degrees but recognize the degrees awarded by the federations.

PROTECTORS - The Official WUKF Fist Protectors are: Red and White (not Blue).

The Chest Protectors and Helmets for 6 to 14 years old will be provided by Organizing Committee, 4 sets for each tatami. We recommend to all competitors to use their own protectors.

KATA - The categories 6 to 14 years please see the WUKF Kata rules in our webpage.

Rounds for Kata Cadets and Juniors:

• After the first round 16 competitors will be classified;                    
• After the second round 4 competitors will be classified;                 
• The final will be organized with 4 competitors.

The second and the third rounds will be added for the final classification.
