Dear Karate friends:

A new year starts a new challenge for our Karate in all countries WUKF members.

Now when the revival the of financial world, we will have more chances to meet us in our big events organized by WUKF.

In the first month of the Year of the Dragon we received some new important affiliations requests to WUKF: France, Switzerland, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Jordan, Portugal, Spain, Malaysia and Morocco.

This shows the great importance of our federation in all 5 continents; now we have 174 members, we are a big power in the world of Karate.

For be a strong entity in world, is necessary that all members take part in our events, that all to be presents together and bring a team, it can be small team, but representative of your country.

The WUKF will continue its strategy offering free Technical Seminars leaded by the most well known Karate experts of the world. WUKF affiliated members can have this way a profit of their investment in the life of the organization. 

We saw in the last events that some affiliated members didn’t bring referees for supporting the Referee Team; we need to remember you that a strong credibility of our events consists into the qualification and performance of the Referee Team and this team must be consolidated from referees from all the participating countries.

Therefore, we wait always a complete team from every federation so referees as well.

In 2010 we’ll have important competitions in WUKF calendar:

• April 2010  :    “3rd European Seniors and Veterans Championships” Santarem-Portugal.
• July 2010   :    “3rd World Children, Cadets and Juniors Championships” São Paulo- Brazil.
• September 2010:          “1st South American Championships WUKF” Asuncion – Paraguay.
• September 2010:          “1st WUKF European Champions Cup” Cluj Napoca – Romania.
• November 2010:           “3rd Asian Championships WUKF” Dakha – Bangladesh.

We inform that in February 2010 the WUKF President and the General Secretary will travel for 2 days  in Dubai for a special meeting, discussing the opportunity and possibilities to organize the “1st WUKF ISLAMIC  GAMES  ”.

From Dubai we are going to Dakha – Bangladesh for checking the facilities and the organization stage for the 3rd Asian Championships that will be held in November 2010.

This is WUKF: growing and organizing many events for bring power and opportunity to all members.
